| Final physical exam |
The final weeks before the return of a puppy are busy - puppy parties, physical and eye exams, 'proofing' commands, visiting his fans and, finally, lots and lots of kisses and snuggling. It's good that I was so busy - kept me from thinking about what was coming. The awful-wonderful, sad-happy, solemn-cheerful, quiet-boisterous, and always tearful day that all puppy raisers work so very hard for - and dread.
